Hi, I’m Greg, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and leadership guru. Transformation. Authenticity. Vulnerability. Leadership. Impact. Vitality. While longing for and cultivating these for myself, I help people and teams discover, taste, and embody them in order to take the leap from surviving to thriving.

When I’m not co-creating this magic I’m doing other life-giving stuff, like being a weird and wild dad to Gabe and Ella and going for broke with the love of my life, Christine. I am a Longhorn, Founders mug clubber, Enneagram NINE, and 1-time triathlete that maintains a struggling mindfulness practice.

With a background and training in counseling, pastoral ministry, coaching, and leadership I love working with people. I’ve baptized them, married them and buried them. I’ve counseled, consulted, advised, and coached them. Through wisdom, vulnerability, humor, and a dash of irreverence I wake up each day to connect deeply with people and join them in their journey of aliveness.

As a child – while other kids were playing legos or eating crayons – I was people watching and trying my best to sit in on adult conversations (kinda creepy – I know). But I’ve always been so curious about the howwhat and why of people’s thoughts, feelings and behavior…so I worked hard to develop and harness my skills (over numerous years) to be able to empower others to become more dependable, fearless and successful leaders – whether they’re a stay-at-home parent or CEO of a global corporation.

The nitty gritty is that I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hope College and a Master’s from Gonzaga University in Communications & Leadership. I am also a Gallup Certified StrengthsFinder’s Coach.

I’m originally from the majestic state of Indiana but I’ve lived in Michigan since 1988, with a three year hiatus in Northern Ireland. While there, I developed and co-directed a youth center for at-risk young people and met my husband, John.  (John is hot.)  I’m a sucker for a witty sense of humor, travel, being outdoors, meals with friends and anything with peanut butter – and I mean anything.
